Curatorial Notes NO SHOWING is a hangout / speakeasy / watering hole / listening party / dancefloor / breathing space for filmmakers and filmgoers to weigh, diagnose, and compare notes and remedies on the state of moviemaking and moviegoing in the Philippines. Curator Moira Lang Moira Lang is a writer and cinephile who produces films that often tackle social and gender inequity. She is known for her work on the films Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros, Zombadings 1: Patayin sa Shokot si Remington!, Norte, Hangganan ng Kasaysayan, and Patay na si Hesus. She also mentors young writers and producers and indulges her other great love (music) by learning to DJ.

Void of Spectacles: A Conversation with Mark Orozco Justiniani Moderated by Vanini Belarmino About the Speaker/s "Vanini Belarmino is an independent curator, producer, and writer whose interest lies in the productive potential of encounters by identifying and facilitating collaborations between artists across genres. Originally from the Philippines, she has spearheaded arts initiatives in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Vanini is the managing director and founder of Belarmino & Partners, an international art consultancy established in Berlin in 2008 and Singapore in 2011 that pursues collaborations with multidisciplinary artists, cultural institutions, museums, festivals, and independent art spaces. In this context, she has curated art projects and forged partnerships with the likes of Art Hub Copenhagen, ArtScience Museum, Ateneo Art Gallery, ATT 19, BenCab Museum, Cultural Center of the Philippines, Orange Project, Platoon Kunsthalle, Project Space Pilipinas, Radialsystem V, and Weltmuseum Wien, among others.Vanini Belarmino was the assistant director (programmes) at the National Gallery Singapore from 2016 to 2021, where she led the realisation of over 800 public programmes in the physical and digital spaces While there, she served as curator for three editions of the Gallery Children’s Biennale (2017, 2019, 2021), the Children’s Festival: Small Big Dreamers (2018), focused on the reinterpretation of works by Singaporean artist Lee Wen (2018), and organised special commissions with the likes of David Medalla, Ho Tzu Nyen, Lee Mingwei, Mark Justiniani, Pinaree Sanpitak, and Sissel Tolaas among others.  She was the co-curator for Afterlude-Prelude, Responses to Nam June Paik (2021), a special program co-organised with the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMoMA). Vanini Belarmino is a recipient of numerous grants and fellowships, including the Asian Cultural Council New York Fellowship (2014) and the Global Fellowship for the International Society for Performing Arts (2009, 2012). She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts from the University of the Philippines Diliman and a Diploma in European Cultural Project Management from the Marcel Hicter Foundation, Belgium. "
